Apparel Design

I worked with blanchouseldn in collaboration with the owners to design apparel reflecting their eclectic interior inspired prints.

The Retro Advertisement Collection

This project was inspired by mid 20th Century periodicals and furniture adverts, pulling from historical archives to create a study in font, tone, layout and form combined with key period items to create a cohesive blend of modern and retro iconography.

The result layered traditional interior design forms (a common motif throughout blanchouseldn prints) with a lighthearted humour and youthful vibrancy, bringing synergy between my designs and the companies existing prints.

The collection surpassed expectations, with two designs selling out two restocks and all other designs selling out entirely.

The “House” Collection

Cutaway architectural plans blending blanchouseldn’s prints with a surreal alternative reality. We drew from key motifs to translate into abstract house formations which could fit fluidly on the back of a T-shirt.

All designs sold out within 3 weeks to 2 months.

Through the Decades Collection

A transportation through the decades of interiors. Utilising key design tropes and combining them with modern clothing to create a journey back in time.
